Verona is a village in South Frontenac, in the county of Frontenac.

Road 38 becomes Verona Main street over the most concentrated shopping strip in Frontenac. You can find gifts, groceries, hardware and local food, all the supplies you could need for a long stay in the countryside, even a new car.

The Verona Temperance House was completed in 1910, and the Verona organization had over 100 members in its heyday and resistance to alcohol persisted well past the end of prohibition.

4:30pm. Trinity United Church, 6689 Road 38. $12 or $6.00 for children under 10. Tickets at Asselstine Hardware and Verona Hardware.

Sunday April 28

Verona - Frontenac Youth Choir Spring Concert

2:30pm. Trinity United Church, 6689 Road 38. Admission with a non-perishable food item. Special guests: the Odessa Childrens' Choir.

Saturday May 4

Verona - Frontenac Women's Chorus Spring Concert

7pm. Trinity United Church, 6689 Road 38. Admission by free will donation, plus an item for the food bank. The main doors at the front of the church are fully accessible. There is parking at the rear of the church and on the street. Refreshments served after the concert in Trinity Church Hall. All are welcome.
